This coffee flavored rum is made here in South Carolina, the sugar cane grown on John’s Island, and the then distilled on Wadmalaw Island and blended with spice and coffee. Once you pour this rum you get aromas of espresso and subtle hints of caramel. The flavors are out of this world, layers of dark coffee notes, subtle sweetness of dark rum, a carmel candy sweetness and a very subtle creaminess. This is really good on the rocks or mixed with some cream, a great alternative to Kahlua and cream, or have some fun and mix it with Godiva liquor to have a delightful dessert. A truly well made rum that gets better with each sip!
